Homework this week (check back often - I will be updating!)

*Storm day note*
Please look ahead to today's homework. You should be able to do everything, with the exception of the grade 6 math work (you don't have the math sheet yet).  I'd like to stay as ahead in the schedule as possible!  For those not able to do the work, we will complete if for homework tomorrow night.  Email me if you have any questions!

Also, Thursday is book fair day.  Bring your book fair money in - because of the storm we've missed our preview.


This is our catch up week!  With our science reports done, we can concentrate on making up for lost time.  I will post the whole week's homework so that if you have hockey, ringette, or any other after school activity you can keep ahead of your work.  One big change this week is that we will be reading in ENGLISH at home.  Each student will bring their book club book home to read each night.  Please don't read ahead (unless you have an after school activity you need to keep ahead on).  I will update the chapters to read each day.

You should be working on your science fair backboards each night.  Bring them into school to work on as well!

Monday: (Day 4)

             grade 6 - pages 86 and 87

English - book club reading :
Fangs - chapter 3
Lighthouse - chapters 4 and 5
Dog House - chapters 6 to 8
Dork - chapter 5 and 6

Study your English vocabulary words (will post the words on a side bar)

Grade 5's - Bring home the permission slip for the play!
Grade 6's - Bring in your grade 7 band permission slips

Tuesday: Storm day!  We'll move today's homework to Wednesday

             grade 6: Volume worksheet and pages 46 and 47 (starting angles today!)
